Admissions Requirements


Are you ready to apply to our nursing, dental assistant, medical assistant programs or nursing schools in Queens, NY, or in Staten Island borough? If the answer is yes, St. Paul’s School of Nursing near New York City may be for you! Each applicant for admission will be assigned an admissions representative to assist him or her in the steps of the admissions process by providing information on curriculum, policies, procedures and services, and by assisting in setting necessary appointments and interviews.

If previous academic records indicate that the school's education and training would not benefit the applicant, the school reserves the right to advise the applicant not to enroll. It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure the school receives all required documentation for admission. All records received become the property of the school

.Our admissions requirements:

  • Applicant must be a high school graduate or possess a GED
  • Applicant must be seventeen years of age or older at the time he or she begins our programs
  • Applicant must complete an application for admission
  • Applicant must interview with an admissions representative

Students interested in our Associate degree in New York City in the Nursing program will also need to take the Wonderlic Scholastic Level Exam. Applicants must score a minimum 16 on the SLE.

With nursing schools in Queens, located off of Queens Blvd., and in Staten Island, located off of Teleport Drive, both locations are near Long Island.
