St. Paul’s School of Nursing – Staten Island Campus recently hosted its 2nd Annual Partnership Dinner at Bocelli restaurant in Staten Island.

While previous years focused exclusively on our clinical partners, this year’s event expanded to include our Medical Assisting externship partners as well as employers of both Nursing and Medical Assisting graduates. The evening celebrated the strong collaborations that make our programs  and our students thrive.

We were honored to welcome representatives from many of our valued partners, including Clove Lakes, Northwell, A Very Special Place, Richmond University Hospital, Hope Home Care, Whiteglove, Metro Community Health Center, Head Start Division of RUMC, Maimonides Midwood Community Hospital, Norwegian Christian Home and Health Center, South Beach Psychiatric Center, and Matheny.

The evening featured an inspiring keynote address by Dr. Salvatore Volpe, MD, FAAP, FACP, ABP-CL, FHIMSS, CHCQM, who shared insights on influence of Clinical Partners & Externship. Attendees also heard heartfelt reflections from two of our outstanding graduates:

  • Gina White, RN, a proud graduate from Class of 2023 Nursing Program
  • Cynthia Avellez, a proud graduate from Class of 2025 Medical Assisting Program

Adding to the excitement, attendees enjoyed a selection of door prizes generously donated by local restaurants, theatres, and even baseball teams. A special thank-you to our community supporters for making the evening extra memorable!

It was a wonderful night of connection, gratitude, and shared commitment to excellence in healthcare education and service. We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who attended and contributed to making the event such a success.
